Breakfast is served in the sunny Morning Room overlooking the gardens or al-fresco on the terrace during the summer months. Local produce is used as much as possible – black pudding and freshly made bread from our local butcher/delicatessan, eggs from our free-range hens when obliging, honey from our beehives in the garden and an assortment of jams and marmalades made by Mark – to die for! We rear rare breed pigs on the Estate which provide delicious bacon and sausage.

The breakfast menu is varied and flexible to meet guests’ needs and includes cereals, dried and fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast followed by a fully cooked English breakfast, Continental options, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, pancakes with maple syrup, omelettes – all washed down with a variety of teas, coffee and fruit juices.
